My sympathy To June, Sue, Barb, John and Family

In memory of a fine gentleman - George McManus.
I am glad we were a part of George's life in Media. Bill and I "Got lucky" and were the McManus' next door neighbors. We would go back and forth in the mud (new homes waiting for the grass to grow) sharing dogs and family get togethers.
George enjoyed his family, neighbors, friends and a random person he would meet at the grocery store. Bill and George were good buddies. He called him "Barnacle Bill". We could count on George for a laugh, a good story or good advice. George always went beyond the call of duty with June's supervision..
I remember George at Halloween standing by his mailbox in the cold, handing out candy to the children and slipping the Dad's a beer. George was a friend to all, but especially to us the Lennons.
The world needs more Georges. He is gone bur not forgotten.
Love,
Joanne
