Nicholas Corrado Obituary
Warminster - Nicholas John Corrado of Warminster, Pa. passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at University of Pennsylvania Hospital. He was 68 years old. Born in Philadelphia, Nicholas was a retired Sergeant for Septa Police from 1975-2013. He was the first graduate of the Septa Police Academy. Nicholas was also a veteran of the United States Air Force and an avid fisherman.
He was predeceased by his parents Nick and Marie Corrado, his sisters Donna Corrado and Mary Gross and his daughter Katie Donelan.
Nicholas is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Corrado of 20 years. His children, Christian Corrado and Nicole McKinney, Sean, Brian and Kelly Donelan. Also surviving is his sister Lois Ways, son in laws Ulises Gamez, Peter Yim, and David McKinney, daughter in laws Lauren Donelan and Emily Corrado, 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday March 31, 2021 after 10:00 AM until time of his Life Celebration at 12:00 noon in the Decker/Givnish Life Celebration Home, 216 York Rd., Warminster. Interment will be held at a later date.

Although I never met Nick, I heard from Peter Yim what a great guy he was to Peter and to his family. I'm so sorry for his passing but I am in prayer for everyone, wishing the peace that only the Lord can give and my sincere condolences. Kelly...blessings! Love, Judy

Wishing you and the entire Corrado family peace and comfort during this hard time.
My Words fail to express my sorrow for your loss. Nick was a great guy and a great sergeant. Nick was a respected and loved member of the SEPTA Transit Police Family. On a personal level Nick was my first Sergeant in Zone 8 when I graduated the police academy. Nick would offer advice and guidance to me as a rookie. Sarge would ALWAYS have your back. Although my career would take me to different zones whenever I would run into Nick he would always have a kind word to say and ask about my family. Later in my career I requested a transfer to an opening in the bike unit. I was honored when Nick called me up and said he chose me and the position was mine, although it was nothing to him I never forgot it.
God bless Nick, and may the love of family and friends comfort you during this difficult time.
