For whatever reason, I googled Annette Sharpsteen tonight, maybe because we hadn't corresponded in a long time. I was surprised to learn she had passed away. Our husbands were in the Air Force together which is how our paths crossed. I hadn't seen Annette since the late 60's when they visited us in Maryland. Shortly after we moved to Georgia where my husband worked for Delta Air Lines. Our correspondence had dwelled to a Christmas card which obviously hadn't been happening either. I am so sorry to learn this and do convey my sympathy to the family. She was always so proud of Billy.

Aunt "net" was my favorite aunt. Her positive attitude has impacted my life more than most will ever know. A card at every birthday and anniversary was a constant reminder of how loved I was. I am so happy for her now that she is reunited with her family and so sad that I won't see her for a while. I will always hope to be as important to someone as she was to so many. I love you Aunt Net!
