Barbara A. Clarke Bissonnette

Evergreen - Barbara A. Clarke Bissonnette (Barb), 68, of Evergreen, CO peacefully passed away with her family by her side at Swedish Medical Center in Denver, CO on January 22, 2021.

Barb is survived by her loving husband, John Bissonette, her son Karl Schickel, wife Jen of Gypsum, CO, her son Tom Schickel, wife Sarah of Denver, CO, her daughter Miriah Clarke Postle and partner Jeremy Maddox of Thornton, CO; her granddaughters Quinlan and Reese; brothers Steven Clarke and David Clarke (deceased), sister Sue Clarke and nieces, nephews and cousins. Barb has dozens of lifelong friends across the country from N.Y. to FL to CO.

Barb was born on January 13th, 1953 in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Clarke. She graduated from high school in Dryden N.Y. and lived in N.Y. for many years eventually moving to Florida, where she met and married her husband John. Barb and John have been in Colorado for over 15 years and have been residents of Evergreen, CO since 2009. Barb had the kindest, loving personality and always cared for others before herself. She loved her husband, family, the outdoors, off-roading in her Jeep and living in the mountains. But most of all she loved spending time with her granddaughters who were the light of her world. Barb will be greatly missed.

There will be a burial in the spring at Green Hills Cemetery in Dryden, N.Y. as well as a yet to be selected location in CO.
