Bozie Thomas Obituary
Bozie A. Thomas, age 62, slipped peacefully into eternity on Friday April 30, 2021 at home. He graduated from Hawthorne High School in 1976 and retired from the University of Florida Physical Plant Department, College of Law. Bozie was an avid gator fan, and his Florida Gator Memorial Homegoing Celebration will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 18816 SW 79TH Avenue, Archer Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and leave a devoted wife, Katherine Thomas, sons; Russell Hawkins (Brandi) and Bobby Joe Hipps, Goddaughter, Wanda Irons-Traylor (Kenneth), Granddaughter; Morgan Hawkins; sister, Michelle Wilson; best friend, Cleveland Franklin (Donna), and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends to cherish his memory. A celebration of his life and legacy will be at his home among friends and family.

Bozie and I were co-workers at UF Law. He was always optimistic, kind, and a thoughtful person. I will miss our conversations and his reassuring presence. My condolences to his family and friends.
