Charlie was always a great neighbor and friend on Poplar Beach. I was blessed to have Charlie teach me the art of pulling copper and benefitted from the hundreds of pleasant hours spent in that activity. Although we moved from Cayuga Lake to Florida five years ago, the memories remain very vivid. The "Trophy Lures" that each caught at least 100 fish still have a prominent place on my den wall. I treasure the hours spent either on Charlie's deck or mine swapping stories. Charlie truly enriched my life. May he rest in peace.
