Cornelia Marks Obituary
Ithaca: Cornelia R.H. Marks, affectionately Known as CR, has passed away at Cayuga Medical Center. She is survived by Lawrence, her loving husband of 50 years; her son, Seth; and daughter, Kendra. She has supported the Finger Lakes Land Trust, Cayuga Trails Club, Schuyler County Animal Humane Society, Afghanistan Girls School Building Fund and Tanglewood Natural Preserve in Elmira, NY. Most of all, she was an avid gardener and home landscaping expert. She leaves behind a beautiful yard full of diverse and colorful flower gardens, trees and shrubs, including blueberries; all which attracted songbirds that she enjoyed watching through a picture window, or a stroll outside. CR asks only to be remembered with kindness. Bangs Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
