I´m so sorry for your loss. May memories of him be a blessing. He was a wonderful person who was generous and kind. I send my deepest sympathies to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

In the 22 years that I've known the man, what comes to my mind is that he was rock solid. I had a few traumas here and there, and when David learned about them, he made himself accessible to me, and he did that freely. The last time that we had spoken was by phone. He had called me, and we had a good chat. I was detecting that his voice was not as strong as usual, and I had made mention the fact that I worry about him often. He chuckled and responded that "everyone dies, Frank. You'll know what that means when you get there." He knew it was coming, and he wasn't the least bit afraid. When I said goodbye at the end of that call, he responded, "Remember me." Recently, I looked at my phone to see when the last time Dave and I had caught up, and that conversation had taken place on Aug. 29. So I called his cell on Nov. 9, and got his answering machine. Bobbi texted me today, so that I would not be left hanging. Nine more days after I left that message, I came to realize how much I loved the guy.

David's been a wonderful neighbor--welcoming, kind, generous, humorous, and always ready with plenty of suggestions! We've been grateful for his presence. It's hard to imagine Northview without him. Sending a hug from next door, Bobbi.

Bobbi, Stacey and Kirsten, I have no words to explain what your family has ment to me. David and Bobbi were my parents for a year, and that has been the best experience of my life. I remember David always joking and laughing, and always ready to help. I just can say this is a ver sad day for me. I will keep him always in my heart. RIP.
