Diane Giordano Obituary
Ithaca - Diane N. Giordano, of Ithaca, NY entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Born on January 24, 1941 in Ithaca to the late Nelson and Marion Terwilliger.
Diane is survived by her Brothers: Nelson (Linda) Terwilliger, Richard (Barb) Terwilliger and Sister Sherrie (David) Joseph. She is pre-deceased by her husband of 52 years Arthur P. Giordano and many relatives and friends whom she is now reunited with. Diane leaves her loving memories to her surviving children; Arthur "Kip" (Debbie) Giordano, Geraldine "Gerry" (Timothy Kilpatrick) and Rachel (John Colunio) Giordano in addition to 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren who her world revolved around.
Diane was a devoted wife, dedicated mother, loyal grandmother and forever friend. She was selfless in so many ways, she cared for others more so than herself. If you were fortunate enough to have been a part of her life, you knew she'd walk to the ends of the earth for you. No matter who you were…. If she took you under her wing, you were there to stay. She will be remembered for her strength, unconditional love and tremendous acts of kindness.
She was an active member of the VFW Post 961 Auxiliary where we will have a celebration of her life with family and friends on Saturday, November 10, 2018 (423 W. State Street, Ithaca NY) at 1:00pm.

On behalf of the Art and Ruth Burke Family, I send our Love and Deepest Condolences. I'm sorry that we won't see you all today since I just found your Mother's passing. Throughout my childhood I heard of Diane and Art Giordano and the family, since my Mother Maria and her family grew up with them. I remember visiting the Blue house when I was younger as my Mom was always Happy to visit and see people from her neighborhood. We often see Gerry.

Diane will always hold a special place in our hearts. She always had constant positive and loving messages and loved seeing pictures of Jaden growing. We will miss her sweet comments. Her gentle and kind words and her luv yas commented on our posted photos, gave such a warm feeling and showed what a big heart she had. Rest In Peace.
