EMMA KINSMAN VAN ORMAN
HORSEHEADS - Emma Kinsman Van Orman, 85, of Horseheads and formerly of Ithaca, died Wednesday, August 17, 2005. Born December 10, 1919 to the late Flora Vandine and Hiriam Terrel Kinsman, also was predeceased by her husband, Ray (Boots) Van Orman on August 9, 1994.She is survived by her loving sons, Ray III and JoAnna, Bernie and JoAnn, Terrel and Pam; daughters, Nanette and Wayne Butler, Alice and Robert Nash Jr.; her grandchildren, Jocelyn, Janessa (Avery), Todd, Jason, Brandon, Jennifer (Shoemaker), Cahill (Butler), Jeremy (Butler), Bryan (Quick), Jacob (Nash), Robert J. (Nash), Matthew (Nash), and Jason (Nash); also several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Florence Hawk.Emma lived and walked most of her life in Ithaca while working for the Tompkins Trust Company, retiring January 1, 1985.Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 21, 2005, at 3:00 p.m. at Bangs Funeral Home with Deacon George Kozak officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Private graveside services will be held at the Inlet Valley Cemetery.
