Dear Chisholm Family,
On behalf of the Allan W. Weir family, please accept my sympathy for your tremendous loss.

Although I was quite young, I remember the laughter and warmth when my parents and grandparents (A. Allan and Margaret Jolly Weir) gathered with the Chisholms, and how often and fondly they spoke of you folks.

Fond memories are the legacy.

With warm regards,

P.S.
I would like to attend the service if someone would contact me with the time and day.

We did not know Mr. Chisholm, but are residents of NC and familiar with Shallotte. If Mr. Chisolm got to spend his retirement here, then you know he had a good life! We are in Hampstead, and have many neighbors from up north. We all agree, it was the best decision we made, the cereomial passing of the snow shovel. I hope your family can appreciate the comfort he must have had in all his warm times in North Carolina, and know he made the right choice. You may still be back in New York, but you will all be together again some day.
Slainte,
Carol Crandall
