Lily Barlow Obituary
Lodi - Lily Mae Barlow of Lodi passed away at home surrounded by family on June 20, 2018 the age of 11. Lily was born on October 6, 2006 in Montour Falls, New York. She attended South Seneca Elementary School where she made lots of friends. Lily never let her disease get in the way of her living life to the fullest. She loved to dance, read, and loved spending time with family and friends. If you spent time with Lily, you were apt to have been awarded with one of her world class hugs and smiles. Lily is survived by her mother, Addie Barlow; siblings, Ella and Daniel Barlow; paternal grandmother, P. Diane Barlow; maternal grandparents, June and Lowell Wise; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Lily was preceded in death by her father, Kevin Barlow; paternal grandfather, Gary Barlow; and uncles, Jeff Barlow and Robert Biesecker. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Interlaken Reformed Church, 8315 Main Street, Interlaken. A Reception will immediately follow. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks those that would like to make a contribution in Lily's memory to kindly consider the University of Iowa, Huntington Disease Clinic, 200 Hawkins Drive, Iowa City, Iowa 52242. To the family and friends of Lily, May Lily forever remain in your hearts, be your ray of sun when you're feeling blue. May Lily always be the everlasting twinkle in your eyes. May she always be the gentle breeze you feel on a crisp fall day. May she be the first snowflake to fall and gently land on your cheek as snowflakes are kisses from heaven.I only had the pleasure of working with Lily for a few months. It was instant to see the love she had for her family and the love they shared for her. Even though it was only a few months, Lily made an everlasting impact on my life. May you, Lily forever rest easy and I'm peace.
