Nancy Lanning Obituary
Plant City, FL: Nancy Ruth (Lyon) Lanning, 74, of Plant City, passed away August 9, 2012. She will be missed by her family: sister, Irene Munsey (Bill); brother, David Lyon (Maureen); nieces and nephews, and her loved pets. Nancy grew up in Ithaca and loved the area. Her many friends in the area will also miss her and will carry fond memories of her with them. For many years Nancy had the beauty shop in the Ithaca Hotel and took pride in being the beautician for many locals and guests in the hotel. Later she was proud to work in Rothschilds until she moved to Florida to help care for her mother and assist her sister and brother-in-law with their Sheltie kennel. Her proudest moments were her work with the Enfield Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She used to say it's hard to beat a good parade.

I will miss you. Remember the early days when we much yonger and when we drove around Ithaca in your 53 blue and white Ford with the loud mufflers. Love and miss you. Your brother.
