Paul Robertson Obituary
Paul O. Robertson, 79, of Zephyrhills, FL, and Clarksburg, OH, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. He was born on August 19, 1937, in Tompkins County, NY, the son of the late Archibald and Edna Sanderson Robertson.
He is survived by two daughters, Kristine Robertson of Ithaca, NY; and Nicole (Thomas) Edwards of Endicott, NY; one granddaughter, Ainsley Edwards, one sister, Minnie (Sam) Empson of Groton, NY; and one brother, Donald Robertson of Old Lyme, CT; several nieces and nephews; and his life friend, Dawn Michele Wilson of Clarksburg, OH; as well as his extended family, Todd (Rebecca) Wilson of Dayton, OH; Chad (Heejoo) Wilson of Lexington, KY; Samantha, Juliet, Henry and Joseph Wilson. He was preceded in death by one sister, Bessie Robertson.
Paul worked as a computer specialist for IBM where he retired after 28 years. He attended the United Methodist Church of Zephyrhills, FL. He was active in the Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps for many years and volunteered extensively for the Zephyrhills Pregnancy Center.
In keeping with Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Friday, July 21, 2017, at the New Testament Church of Peruville, Groton, NY, with Pastor John Iler officiating.

I just met Paul a few weeks ago during spring training in Ada OH - I had never crossed paths with him in volunteering with the Cadets before, but he came to my rescue and helped me push a rack of uniforms on a hot day. He later came into the room with the seamstresses and built a custom mobile rack. He was truly a gentleman and friend to the Cadets, and I'm glad I had the chance to meet him, sorry I didn't meet him before, and so very sorry for his tragic loss. My thoughts are with all of you - he will be missed!

We were so saddened by the sad news of Paul's passing. For the short time that we knew him and Michelle we considered them very special people. We enjoyed seeing them in Church and especially enjoyed Paul's enthusiasm when he joined us for the Camera Club trips. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family and to Michelle. Paul has been a special part of our (Wilson) family. He was a nicest and wonderful man. We were so Blessed to have him come into Michele's life. Prayers and thoughts to his own family. We will miss him deeply. From The Gorges family!
