I am deeply saddened to read of Paul's passing. I worked with Paul at NYSEG and have fond memories. His sense of humor, wit, and insatiable desire to make the best of everything were but a few of the wonderful traits that made him loved by so many. What a joy it was when he joined the Dryden UMC choir after moving there. I am so very blessed to have known him.

We should all have the wit, warmth and wonderful outlook on life that Paul did. His eulogy to his wife Angie transformed my life, and his ability to deal with adversity was inspirational. He embodied the best of the amateur entertainer; he never took himself (or his Brother Savages) too seriously. He simply wanted to bring a smile in others for his work....and he did.

How well we remember Paul from NYSEG and the years he and Angie spent in Brooktondale. He was a good man. Your grief is new, and those of us who want to offer comfort are at a loss, for words alone can never ease your pain...But time will help, and so will your memories. The way Paul looked, the way he smiled...and all those wonderful traits that were unique to him -- These will live in your heart and he will always be a part of you.
