Peter Ewanicki Obituary
Peter N.Ewanicki,65 died of cancer November 16 in Hospicare of Ithaca. He is the son of the late John and Marion Ewanicki. He graduated from Ithaca High School in 1969 and Ithaca College in 1973 with a degree in physical education. Peter worked at the family business "General Arborists" for many years. He enjoyed reading, ice hockey ,blues music, and fishing. He had quite a sense of humor and was always up for a good laugh. He is survived by his brother Philip, Daytona Beach FL, his sister Jane Gehron, Wakefield MA, and several nieces and nephews. Peter will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Thanks to all the overwhelming support from his friends. A special thanks to Tom and Eddie who stayed by his side in his last difficult days. Family and friends may make donations in his name to Ithaca Hospicare.
There will be a celebration of Peter's life at the Fall Creek House, 302 Lake Street on December 3.
