Ralph Bruce Obituary
FORMERLY OF DANBY - Ralph C. Bruce, age 83, of Floresville, TX, formerly from Danby, Ithaca, NY, died peacefully among loving family, September 10th, 2009.
Ralph was a World War II Army Veteran. Spent most of his life doing what he loved as a Auto Body Repairman. Owner and Operator of Bruce Collision. He found his passion and love in his children, auto repair and painting, a truckdriver, sports, music, classic cars, horses, the great outdoors and his ice cold can of Pespi.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry J. And Mabel E. Bruce. Survivors are brothers, Howard Willis Bruce, of Hendersonville, NC, Charles Richard Bruce, of Danby, Ithaca, NY, Claire Theresa (Moya) of Phoenix, AZ; daughters, Karen Leigh (Groat) of Mesa, AZ, Sandra LuAnn (Beasley) of Paradise Valley, AZ, JoAnn Marie (Guyer) of LaVernia, TX; sons, Ralph John Bruce of Floresville, TX, Christopher Harry Bruce of Phoenix, AZ, Russell Howard Bruce of San Antonio, TX. There are 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews also surviving.
Family memorial tribute dinner and prayers were held in LaVernia, TX and Mesa, AZ. Burial Service will be held Wednesday, September 30th, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Danby Rural Cemetery on Curtis Rd., Danby, Ithaca, NY.
May he be at peace and know how much we will always love and miss him.

MY FATHER WHO I LOVED WITH ALL MY HEART WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED BY ME AS THE BEST DAD A KID COULD HAVE HAD. MY FATHER TAUGHT ME THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL AN THAT WAS LOVE ONE ANOTHER UNCONDITIONALLY. DAD ALSO WAS A GREAT BODY MAN WHO TAUGHT ME THE BIZ FROM SANDING TO OVERALL PAINT JOBS .EVERY CAR I DO NOW HE IS GONNA BE BY MY SIDE AND WATCH OVER ME . LOVE YOU DAD AN THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE GIFT. CHRIS

MY FATHER WAS A GREAT MAN . HE TAUGHT ME EVERY THING I KNOW ABOUT THE PAINT BUSINESS THAT I SHOULD KNOW. THE THING I REMEMBER ABOUT HIM WAS HIS KNOWLEDGE OF PAINT AN BODY WORK. I WILL MISS HIM VERY BAD IN THE YEARS TO COME . I LOVE YOU DAD.............. CHRIS B

Sorry about the loss of Ralph and missed it before if it was in the paper here .Ralph was my first boss in the body shop he operated in Danby with his brother Chuck and good lord like 53 years or so ago .Had many memories of him .
I have kept in contact over the years with some of the family but not all . It is truly a sad thing no matter what so to the Family I am saddened .please except my sympathies at this time
