Mr. Granger was my music teacher and band leader from 4th through 12th grade. I remember him spending his summers driving over dirt roads from one student's home to the next, giving music lessons. Who does that? Only someone as dedicated as he was. I have thought of him often. My condolences go to his family. He will be missed.

Katie, Diane, Kathy and families:
I am truly sorry to hear of the loss of your husband, father and loved one. He was a very special man. He always encouraged me to be my best even after I graduated from SVE. I was grateful to have him as a friend that I could write to over the years and know that he would still encourage me. Your family has always been in my prayers as you were always very special to me. Diane I have continued to hold you up in prayer all of your life because you were my best friend in school and your parents were always very good to me inviting me to spend the night, or to have dinner with you. I remember the first time I had dinner with you and you served me squash for dessert thinking I would have a problem with it, but Katie it was the best "pumpkin pie" I have ever had. Diane I continue to lift you up in special prayers on October 13th each year. It is always difficult to lose a loved one especially one you have been with for a long time as you have Katie, or to lose your parent. I've lost both of my parents and my older brother and there is not a day that goes by that I do not think of them. The loss of Mr Granger brings me to tears, but I know that one day I will see him again as will you. I know that when he met his maker he heard the words "well done my good and faithful servant." I am truly sorry for your loss.
