Robert Lacey Obituary
Robert M. Lacey, age 86, of New Port Richey, FL and formerly of Harford, NY passed away, Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Hospicare Residence in Ithaca, NY. "Bob" was born February 13, 1931 in Richford, the youngest son of Phineas and Beulah Matson Lacey. Bob was married on Dec. 11, 1953 to Lulabel Kentch at Virgil. Bob and Lulabel were long time residents of Harford until relocating to Florida in 1989. He was employed at Cornell University, Four County Creamery, Suburban Propane (ARCO) and worked on family and friends dairy farms. He gave generously of his time to all he knew. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed camping and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Lulabel; his daughter, Diane (Clifford) Michaud of Dryden; grandchildren, Tammy and Gregory Michaud, Christopher Lacey and Katrina Starks; grandchildren, James, Evan, Torry, Dominic and Sienna; a brother-in-law, Elwyn "Al" Kentch; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Stephen Lacey; his siblings, Louise Armitage, Blanche Thornton, LaVern Lacey, Norman Lacey, Rosetta Golden and Eugene Lacey.
Friends are invited to call from 4 to 6 PM, Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden. Interment will be at 10AM, Wednesday, in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Memorials are directed to: Hospicare, 172 East King Road, Ithaca, NY 14850.
