ROSEMARY "RODIE" LYNCH
ITHACA - Rosemary "Rodie" Lynch, 89, of 1393 Mecklenburg Rd., died Monday, November 29, 2004, at the Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca. She was born in Seneca Castle, NY, daughter of the late Clarence and Claribel Alfreds, and was the widow of Harry Lynch who died December 8, 1993.A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Rodie's family was always the center of her life. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Addy; daughter and son-in-law, Pat and William Brazo; grandsons, W. John Brazo, Hal, Robert, Michael and Donald Lynch, Danny, Mitch, Tom and Doug Addy; and several great and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Jack Alfreds; her aunt, Alice (Glenford) Howe; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Rodie was also predeceased by her son, Harry C. Lynch; grandchildren, Rick Addy and Kim Brazo Miller; and her son-in-law, Douglas Addy.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Leo Reinhardt on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call today (Wednesday) from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Bangs Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Finger Lakes Independent Center, 215 Fifth St., Ithaca, or to the Immaculate Conception Church.Rodie's family will be forever thankful to Mary Alvarado, Bonna Lee Vann and Gwen Hohenthal for their loving care.
