Bernard,
I was sad to read of Shirley's passing. In the short time I cared for her I learned so much. What an amazing woman. She will be missed by all.

This is a very nice, and accurate, obituary. Though I've known Shirley through the years of her final illness, my memories are from a much more vibrant time. She was indeed a woman with opinions on, as I recall, any topic under discussion. But I also remember her devotion to her husband Bernie.
