I want Walter's family to know that in my 18 yrs at NCR, I never worked with a more positive and uplifting man. We loved to talk shop, as he ran our successful Machine Shop, and we shared many of our US Army active duty experiences. Men like him are too few & far between.

Betty, Carl, Ralph, Mary & Kristen.......so sorry to hear of this. Walt was always a pal.....to me....and to everybody he talked to....with a joke, a jab or just a warm hand on the shoulder. I wish I were there to support you the way you supported us as Bobslipped away as well but my thoughts are with you from Asia

Betty, Ralph, and Carl...
Your husband/Dad always greeted me with a smile and kind words as he spread sunshine all over Danby in his travels up and down the road.
Praying for comfort and strength for you in the coming days.

My condolences to the Reimers family. Walt, once upon a time, was my landlord. He always had a smile, a pleasant word, and treated his tennents with respect. Walt was one of "The Good Guy's" that sometimes your lucky enough to meet on life's highway. I have not seen him in many years, but I have never forgotten him, or his kindness.

Betty and Family,
I am so sorry. I didn't know Walt had been ill. I very much enjoyed working with Walt at NCR and always enjoyed my visits with you and Walt at your house over the years. I will remember him in my prayers.

Betty, Ralph, Carl, and Family - My heart breaks for you all. I will always remember Walt for his heart-felt concern for others, his hearty greetings, and his acceptance and support for me as a fellow Service member. While it may seem for right now the world may seem less bright without him in it, our memories of him will keep alive the light that he brought to it.
