Jan,
My heart aches for you and your family. I can not even imagine what it is like taking this journey that you are taking. Please know that God, family and friends will help you prevail. Do not be afraid or too proud to reach out in your time of need. You have a great support group waiting in the wings outside, all you need to do is open your arms and your heart and let them in and you will be amazed. I will miss Bill's great sense of humor. Remember the good times. Cindy and Bucky

Had only known Bill for a short period of time, but really admired him. Our yearly golf outing with Bill and Dick was always a pleasurable day and will really be missed. His willingness to play for a thousand dollars a hole (which nobody ever had to pay up) made the time spent with Bill even more fun. He will be missed but not forgotten. Our prayers are with his family and friends.

Jan and family,
My family and I are very sorry for your loss. Bill was a man among men.He always asked how my family was when he had only met them one time. I remember when Jan had won the NASCAR trip at the Cornell picnic and Bill brought back a hat for my daughter of her favorite driver. He never asked about it he just showed up with it. There will never be another Bill. The world has lost a good man.
Jan, We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Bill and Jan have always treated me to what I would like to say as family. Every time I think of Bill it comes to mind that he cared about family,
friends, and life. I will never forget the time I got to spend with Bill. I got to witness what I consider a great wonder which was a Hole in One on the coarse. Bill waved it off as luck and said I will give you my Hole in One for one of your Eagles. He was amazed at my joy of his accomplishment and for that Bill I offer you my Eagle and admiration forever. Jan and Family, I truly feel like I have lost a brother, I had the pleasure of working with Bill and playing golf with him. Bill had a special way of making you feel welcome and letting you know he was a friend. The last few years I have only seen him on a few visits but we shared thousands of Emails and jokes, His smile and casual manner really endured him to all who came in contact. Farewell old friend will see you soon on the other side. Hank Roberts

Janet, Mark, Deb and Family members,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of need. It was a pleasure to know such a loving, friendly, caring man. Always had a smile on his face and a laugh behind it. It was contageous to be around Bill and Mark and not be laughing until your sides hurt. We will treasure all the memories, and never forget him. Because he brought up a special son who reminds us of him to a tee. Doug thought the world of him. But I'm sure everyone did that entered his life. God bless you all and rest in peace. Love Doug, Kristie, Taylor, and Cody. xoxoxoxo

I've known Bill for the better part of 10 years. Mostly through work and Fantasy Football. He was a wonderful guy, soft spoken and kind hearted. He always had peanut m&m's in a jar in his office which I would raid for a much needed chocolate fix.
My thoughts go out to Jan and Mark and the rest of Bill's family who I'm sure will miss him very much. As will I.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Bill's family in their time on grief. I worked for Bill 20 years ago at Cornell. He taught me many things about myself and others. I had a great respect for him, he was a great boss and good friend. Both Sherry and I liked Bill alot. Your up there with my Sherry now so take good care of her for me. Thank you friend, until we meet again on the other side I'll be thinking of you.

Bill was like a brother to me, a best friend. We played golf together twice a week for fifteen years. Bill took me under his wings showing me patience as he taught me the game of golf and later on also help my grandsons Tyler and Jacob who too will miss him so much.
Bill has given me memories of a lifetime and I will always take Bill's kindness generosity and friendship with me where ever I go. My life will always have a void in it and I thank my Lord for allowing me the privilege of getting to know Bill and for sharing the friendship that we had. He has left a tattoo on my heart!
Rest in peace my friend.
