William A. Dean Jr.

( September 20, 1946 - December 17, 2020 )

Bill passed away on December 17, 2020. He was born in Ithaca September 20, 1946. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Faye Dean, his son Andrew Dean, daughter in law Julee Dean, and grand daughter Lillian Dean. His brother Daniel (Julie) Dean, brothers in law Don Corwin and Tim Moon. Sisters in law Anne Martin and Christine Moon and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents William Dean and Shirley Dean Gee. His in-laws Gerald Moon and Bessie Moon French and his sister Carolyn Corwin.

Bill graduated from Ithaca High School in 1964. Shortly after, he was drafted in the US Army. He proudly served while doing his tour in Vietnam in an Artillery Division. Upon his return stateside, Bill mainly worked in construction. He also owned and operated Deano's Tavern. He was a lifetime member of the Slaterville Fire Company. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and he was always found frequently playing in the local horseshoe, golf and bowling leagues.

Due to current circumstances, his celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Bangs Funeral Home.
