Patrick Sturgeon Obituary
Patrick B. Sturgeon 80, died September 30, 2021 at NMC Health Newton. He was born August 1, 1941 in Hutchinson, Kansas to John and Jean "Bunny" (Mason) Sturgeon. On January 14, 1961 he married Betty Daily in Newton and she survives of the home.
Pat was retired from the BNSF railroad in 2014 where he was a train conductor.
He greatly enjoyed learning about and building computers and was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan. Patrick's greatest joy in life was his family and grandchildren. He looked forward to time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Betty of the home; sons Bob (Kim) Sturgeon and Jeffery (Julianne) Sturgeon; daughter Lori (Rick) Arellano; sister Ann (LeRoy) Younger; Grandchildren Hayley (Jake) Sturgeon; Baylee Beardslee; Trevor Sturgeon; Grant Sturgeon; Tiffany (Rob) Gomez; Cody Arellano; Shelby (Colby) Arellano; Tanner Arellano; Great Grandchildren Parker Arellano and Josie Lee Paolinetti.
Patrick is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Ron and Joe Sturgeon and Father and Mother in Law Vic and Billie Daily.
A private family interment will be in the St. Mary Cemetery Newton, Kansas.
Memorials may be made in Pat's memory to American Cancer Society in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
