Barbara Ann Eudy

1942 - 2021

GARDEN CITY BEACH - Barbara Ann Griffin Eudy, 78, of Garden City Beach, passed away Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021. She was born in Union County on Oct. 31, 1942, a daughter of the late James Warren and Velma Ross Griffin. She is also preceded in death by her husband, David Lynn Eudy.

Funeral services for Barbara will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, in the Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112, with entombment to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends before the service on Thursday at the funeral home from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m.

Barbara attended Monroe City Schools and was a graduate of Kings College. She retired as the vice president of American Wax, a company she and her husband founded in 1983. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved people and especially loved spending time at the beach.

Barbara is survived by a daughter, Robin Watts (Dicky) of Heath Springs; a brother, John Griffin (Janice); a granddaughter, Brooke Watts Cauthen (William) of Lancaster; and a great-grandchild, Cooper Cauthen; and two loving caregivers, Amethyst and Ashley.

Barbara was a breast cancer survivor and requested memorial gifts be made to The Susan G. Komen Foundation, 505 East Blvd., Suite 101, Charlotte, NC 28203.
