Benjamin Heath Obituary

LANCASTER – Mr. Benjamin Thomas Heath, 64, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017.
He was born March 3, 1952, in Lancaster, a son of the late Gilbert Brown Heath Jr. and Frances Wilkes Heath.
Mr. Heath finished high school at Lancaster and then attended the University of South Carolina, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in finance. During his working years, he was the owner of Heath Tool Company. He was a loving husband and father and was a dedicated member of First United Methodist Church of Lancaster. Mr. Heath enjoyed playing golf and working outdoors. He loved college football and was an avid Clemson fan.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Heath is 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Phillips officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Burial will be private.
Mr. Heath is survived by his wife, Myrna McManus Heath of Lancaster; a son, John D. Heath of Lancaster; a daughter, Haley F. Heath of Lancaster; a brother, Gilbert B. "Gil" Heath III of Lancaster; one nephew; and two nieces.

Adrian and I are so very sorry to learn of Ben's passing. We are praying for his family and all those who are impacted by his loss. We remember with thankful hearts his many contributions to Ben's church family at First United Methodist Church.
