HEATH SPRINGS, S.C. - Mr. Bobby Michael Sims, age 81, passed away Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025 at his home in Heath Springs, S.C.
He was born July 28, 1944, a son of the late Clyde J. Sims and the late Frances M Sims.
Bobby will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a man of great honor and strength, and a good friend to many people. Bobby was employed by Springs Industries for 19 years and Zenith Engraving for 26 years. He was a member of Fork Hill Baptist Church and had a great time going on trips with the Golden Age Group.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 35 years, Terry Sims; his daughter, Sharon Hargett (Stephen) of Lancaster, S.C.; his granddaughters, Christina Lowe (Josh) of Lancaster, S.C. and Katelyn Holland (Nick) of Charleston, S.C.; his grandsons, Tyler Glover (Felicia) of Lancaster, S.C. and Benjamin Sims of Rock Hill, S.C.; six great-grandchildren; his brother, Leonard Sims (Peggy) of Heath Springs, S.C.; and his sister, Becky Slade (Mike) of Rock Hill, S.C.
He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher D. Sims; and his parents, Clyde and Frances Sims.
The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Bobby will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, at Fork Hill Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Adam Furr. Burial will follow at Fork Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m., one hour prior to service, in the Family Life Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Fork Hill Baptist Church Golden Age Group, 1125 Fork Hill Road, Heath Springs SC 29058, or charity of one's choice.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Davita of Lancaster and Agape Hospice Care for the wonderful care they provided.
