Christopher Liu Obituary
To all who knew him, Chris was a larger-than-life presence. With a single word, he could take control of any room. Everyone who ever met him has an indelible "Chris" moment. These moments continue to bring joy to those who were lucky enough to receive them, all over the world.
At the same time, Chris suffered no fools and brokered no BS. He called out the absurdities of our era with razor wit and excellence of execution. And if he loved you, he loved you ferociously. Beloved films and performances he absorbed and re-enacted with precision. Beloved video games he played for decades, until watching him play was like experiencing a miracle. And if he loved you, he never faltered, and he never wavered. He was unstoppable, shouldering all your burdens with you. To be his friend or family was a gift unlike anything this world has offered or will ever offer again.
Chris is survived by his partner, Mary, his parents, Timothy and Frances, and countless lifelong friends he made around the world.
In lieu of a service, Chris would have asked that you watch your favorite movie, and remember what it felt like to experience it for the first time.
