James Blackmon Obituary
He was a son of the late James Blackmon and the late Mary Alice Wright Blackmon.
Survivors include his daughter, Minister Tonya B. Steward of Charlotte; son, James Blackmon Jr. of Charlotte; brother, Ricky Blackmon of Lancaster; and sisters, Shirley B. Davis, Mary B. Henderson, Dianne B. McGriff, Patricia B. Armstrong, Janice B. Ferguson, all of Lancaster, and Elaine B. Lindsay of Rock Hill.
Services were 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at Crawford Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Otis Lathan, with burial in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Viewing was 1-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, and 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at Crawford Funeral Home.
