He was born in Lancaster, a son of the late James Hugh Boyd Sr. and Gail Hancock Warden.
Mr Boyd is survived by his wife, Jackie Humphries Boyd of the home; one son, Josh Paul Boyd; three daughters, Jennifer Elaine Boyd, Jamie Leanne Boyd and Jessica Boyd; one grandchild, Jacelyn Boyd Strain; and a half-brother, Justin Morgan.
Mr. Boyd is in the care of Jerry Hartley Funeral Home, 684 Hubbard Drive, Lancaster.
