HEATH SPRINGS – Mrs. Joanne Faile Hinson, 80, died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born June 21, 1933, in Lancaster County and was a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Faile and Azilee Sullivan Faile. Mrs. Hinson was the wife of the late Malcolm R. Hinson. She was a homemaker and a member of Heath Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Hinson is survived by her children, Cheryl H. Bass of Lancaster, Malcolm R. "Rick" Hinson Jr. and his wife, Carolyn, of Heath Springs, Pam H. Wood and her husband, George, of Lincolnton, N.C., and David A. Hinson and his wife, Lisa, of Kershaw; five sisters, Hortense F. Patton, Helen F. Horne, Evelyn F. Crenshaw, Becky F. Neal and her husband, Clyde, and Carol F. Lambert and her husband, Buddy; eight grandchildren, Ron Mothershed and his wife, Michelle, Jill M. Vincent and her husband, Todd, Cam Hinson and his wife, Veronica, Ben Hinson and his wife Alicia, Jonathan Hinson, Andrew Wood, Shana Hinson and Sydney Hinson, two step-grandchildren, Tommy Killen and Angie Kirk and her husband, Timmy; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hinson was preceded in death by three brothers, H. Randolph Faile, Benjamin F. "Frank" Faile Jr. and Edward C. Faile. The celebration of life funeral services for Mrs. Hinson were 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, at the chapel of Hartley-Burgess Funeral Home, officiated by the Revs. Patrick Clark and Paul Smith, with burial at Salem Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Hinson received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 24, at Hartley Burgess Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to be made to Heath Springs Baptist Church, P.O.
