Richard Kelso Obituary
Born in Denver, Colo., was the son of the late James Howard and Henrietta Zobel Kelso. He was married to Kwan Shin Grace Chow Kelso.
Survivors include his wife; and three daughters, Rebecca Kelso Kuo, Christina Kelso and Anita Kelso.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at First Associated Presbyterian Church in Lancaster.
The family will receive friends after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Richard's name to First Associated Presbyterian Church, 701 N. Main Street, Lancaster, SC 29720.
Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home of Statesville, N.C., is in charge.

First, my wife and I want to say "Hello" to you, Grace. We were shocked to get the news shortly after the accident. Donna and I think of you often and wonder how you're doing. One of these days we may visit the JAARS Center and look you up if you are still living at the JAARS Center.
Rich was one of my instructors when I was a JAARS radio technician. Rich was "sharp as a tack" and I learned a lot from him. For a time I served as the Radio Department manager when Martin Huyett was heading up the team developing a portable computer that could be used in a remote village. We've come a long way in computer technology since then, haven't we?
Donna and I are praying for you at this time Grace.

Dear Grace, I just learned today of Richard's homecoming with the Lord. I am shocked and saddened. I may be at JAARS this month toi complete his project. Dr Larry Biederman
