Tremont Butler Obituary
He was the son of Elizabeth Huey, Robert Butler Jr., and Jimmy Garlins.
Survivors include his mother, father, Robert Butler Jr., and stepfather, Jimmy Garlins; sisters, Cadeja Hood, Nykeira Butler, Taniyah Butler and Laila Butler, all of the home; brother, Quantavis Butler of the home; maternal grandparents, Donna J. Robinson and Melvin Robinson of Waxhaw, N.C., and Esthers B. Dickson Sr. of Van Wyck; and paternal grandmother, Phylis Caldwell of Charlotte.
Services were 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Greater Blessed Hope Baptist Church, 3607 Andrew Jackson Drive, Waxhaw, officiated by Pastors Waymon S. Jordan Sr. and Billy McKinney.
