William Huey Obituary

MONROE, N.C. – William Earle "Billy" Huey Jr., 70, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
He was born May 25, 1947, in Lancaster, a son of Marilyn Roberts Huey and the late William Huey Sr.
He is also preceded in death by his younger brother, Tommy Huey.
Billy was a member of Tirzah Presbyterian Church and active in Bible Society. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Billy spent several years traveling throughout the U.S., from Florida to California. He worked for Union County Mental Health Services for over six years.
Funeral services for Billy will be held from the graveside 2 p.m. Sunday, June 4, in Tirzah Presbyterian Church cemetery, 7507 Tirzah Church Road, Waxhaw, N.C.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at Gordon Funeral Service.
In addition to his mother, Billy is survived by his brother, Larry Huey (Maggie), of Grapevine, Texas, and several nephews and nieces.
