Alma Francois Obituary

Alma Francois, 97, of Sun City Center, FL, went to the Lord under the care of LivingPath Hospice March 22, 2009. She was born in Barrie Ontario, Canada, the only child of Albert and Ula Forbes Hook, February 21, 1912. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 70 years, Leonard Francois.
She is survived by her son, James L. Francois (Eleanor, deceased); daughter, Yvonne Workman (Robert); grandchildren, Bob Workman (Kelli), Bonnie Schrock (Fletcher), William Workman (Suki), Debra Ragan (Jack), Doreen Francois (Will, fiance), Michael Francois (Marie); great-grandchildren, Ashley Schrock, Hannah Schrock, Elizabeth Schrock, Wesley Schrock, Erin Ragan, Christine Castillo (Eddie), Caleb Ragan; and great-great-grandchildren, Logan Makowski, Trinity Castillo and Lucas Castillo.
She will be greatly missed by her many close friends and neighbors. Alma loved to take car trips, camp, go boating and play cards. She was an active member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church and lived with a strong belief in God and the love of her church family. A Celebration of Life will take place at 11 a.m. May 20, 2009, at the Southside United Methodist Church. Donations may be made to Sun City Center Rescue Squad, 101 Ray Watson Dr., Sun City Center, FL 33573 or LifePath Hospice, 3725 Upper Creek Dr., Ruskin, FL 33573.
