Clarksville - Cecil HuEdward Moss, Sr., age 67, silently slipped away to be with the Lord on Friday, May 18, 2018. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.with the Masonic Rites at 6:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Foston Memorial Chapel, with Pastor John Mathis, officiating.Internment with Military Honors at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN.
Cecil was born on June 7, 1950 in Clarksville, TN to Robert Louis Moss Sr.
and Ella B. Chilton Moss.He is preceded in death by both parents; his brothers, Robert Jr., and George;and his sister Kaye Evelyn Outlaw.
He leaves to cherish heartfelt memories, his sons Cecil H. Moss Jr., and Christopher L.(Marketha) Moss;grandchildren, Deltrey Vonzell Moss, Anche Veon Moss, Keris Chanell Moss, Te Idalee Moss, Deavion Mosley, LeMarkco
Christopher Moss, Deltrey Darnell Moss and Sierra Janiece Moss; great grandchildren, Jaidence Moss and Aaimry Moss;brother, Lucian(Virginia) Moss, sisters, Nancy M.(Michael) Barbee and Beverly M.(Olger) Burch; two devoted nephews, Robert "Bit" Outlaw, and DanYell "Dee Dee" Meriweather;
aunts, Christine (Edward) Anderson, Ophelia Poindexter (Ernest) Woods; uncle, Charles E. Chilton; close friends, Carl Ranson, Ronnie Ranson, Elijah Johnson, and Charletta Fentress, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

To the entire Moss Family, please know that you are in our thoughts and Prayers. Lucian, Nancy and Beverly, when I think of Cecil, I think of all the fond memories we had growing up on Carpenter St. and Cecil's big smile. We are Blessed for our lifetime to have had Cecil in our lives and to experience such a "rich" and loving childhood together.
