Emma Lyle Obituary

Emma M. Lyle, 77, Ashland City, died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Horizon Medical Center.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. today at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Jackson officiating.
Burial will be in Palmyra Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service today at the funeral home.
Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lyle was born October 14, 1932 in Salem. TN, daughter of the late William Matthew and Johnnie Rose Yarbrough. She was preceded in death by her husband James H. Lyle, Sr., a son William David Lyle, brothers Clinton Yarbrough, Clayton Yarbrough, Macon Yarbrough and a son-in-law Carles Bunch.
Mrs. Lyle was retired from the Montgomery County School System, was a member of Palmyra United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star Palmyra Lodge.
She is survived by her daughter Donna L. Bunch of Ashland City, son James H. (Sandy) Lyle, Jr., White Bluff, sisters Dora (John) Atkins, Clarksville and Pearl Curtis of Cumberland City, TN. Grandchildren are Debbie Lynn (Harry) Dunn, Amanda (Allan) Carruthers, David Wayne Lyle, Lisa Lyle, Randal Dawson, Tim Malugin, Tanya DeLoach and fifteen great grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
