Gregory Lee Crosby

Clarksville - Gregory Lee Crosby, 64, of Clarksville, TN, died Saturday July 22, 2017at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Gregory was born June 28, 1953 in Fort Bragg, NC and was the son of Arvie L. Crosby and Sarah Heath, both preceding him in death. Gregory is survived by his brother, David Crosby, and sister, Anita Carol Crosby Smith, both currently residing in Nashville, TN.

MR. Crosby served in the US Navy and was currently serving with the Davidson County Sheriff's Office in Nashville, Tennessee for over twenty years. Greg was an avid musician and gun enthusiast.

Funeral services for Mr. Crosby will be held at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN, on October 30, 2017 at 1 p.m.

David and Carol, I am truly sorry for your loss. Greg was a very dear friend to me and my daughter, Caitlyn Herrington. I miss my long conversations with him about music. He will be greatly missed.
