James was a fellow classmate at CHS, haven't been in touch since I moved away. My thoughts and prayers are sent to all his loved ones. May he always remain in your hearts.

James became a member of our class, at Sango School, in 1955, and he got me in trouble with Mrs. Ruth Porter on our very first day in school. I was all set to dislike him, but found that I could not. "Tuffy" was a good nickname for him, because dyslexia made school more difficult for him than it was for most of us, but he hung in there. Other challenges would follow, but James rose to each of them. In that way, he was a tuff as they come, but he had a truly tender heart for others, and he was not afraid to show it. To everyone who knew him well, James was a special person. Now, our hearts go out and our prayers go up for each of you who were so very special to him.

Betty Jo, so sorry to learn of your brother's passing. How sweet his legacy of hope for others must help you sustain your loss. He surely was a man of love for others. I have notified our classmates for prayer for you and your family. Elinor McCutchen Andrews Clarksville
