James B.

Monroe, Sr.

Age 55 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at St. Thomas Hospital. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home, with Rev. Keith Wilson officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Bethel Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Monroe was born in Clarksville on July 19, 1959 to the late Luther B. and Carolyn Martin Monroe. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Billy Monroe.

He was a Welder with State Industries and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Sebastain Monroe; son, James B. (Jeannette) Monroe II; daughter, Jennifer Monroe; brother, Charles Monroe; sister, Patsy Dunn; grandchildren, Kayleigh, James David and Leyah.

Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
