Marjorie Pendleton

Marjorie "Ruthie" Pendleton, 67, passed away after Monday, October 15, 2012 at Johnson City Medical Center Hospital after an extended illness.

A native of Kingsport, TN, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Marjorie Thomas Pendleton. Ruthie graduated from Dobyns Bennett High School and then received her bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee. She was a computer programmer in Florida, and most recently with the Baltimore County, MD school system.

She leaves behind two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dave and Lisa Pendleton, Johnson City, Tom and Melanie Pendleton, Clarksville; and one niece and two nephews.

No Services will be held for Mrs. Pendleton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salvation Army, 204 West Walnut, Johnson City, TN 37604; (423) 926-2102.

Memories and condolences may be shared with the family and viewed online at www.tetrickfuneralhome.com.

Arrangements for the Pendleton family are in the care of Tetrick Funeral Services, 3001 Peoples St., Johnson City, TN 37604; (423) 610-7171.

I was so sad to hear about Ruthie's passing. I worked and became a very close friend with Ruthie when she lived in Baltimore. I really enjoyed our time together. I will really miss Ruthie.
