Ora Knox Obituary
Ora Lou McMahan Knox, age 84 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014. Ora Lou was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was a member of Bearden United Methodist Church. Ora Lou was well traveled and slept in every state except Hawaii. She enjoyed keeping her home and cooking for her family and friends.
Ora Lou was preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie Mayfield.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Howard W. Knox; children and spouses, Carolyn and Bruce Webb, Terrie and Quentin Humberd, and David and Patricia Knox; sister, Mozelle Rottero; grandchildren and spouses, Meredith and Bill Goff, Courtney and Todd Kopriva, Jessica and Jacob Potts, Elizabeth and Cory Holliday, Daniel Humberd, Allen and Ellie Howell and Kevin Howell; great-grandchildren, Knox Goff, Claire Kopriva, Joseph Potts, Catie Holliday, Millie Holliday, Samuel Holliday, Savanna Howell, Laine Kopriva, Liam Potts and Cade Goff.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon to 2 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2 p.m., in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. A Reception will be held immediately following the service at Milestones Event Center, beside Click Funeral Home.
Family and friends will gather at 12 Noon (CST) on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville, TN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a sweet and wonderful lady. I was one of the CNA that took care of her at NHC. Seeing this breaks my heart. She is in better place,no more hurting and having to do therapy. God Bless the family of the Knox

We were fortunate enough to Mr. & Mrs. Knox on several occasions at Carolyn & Bruce's homes, and again at Lynn's graduation from UT. I know they will be greatly missed by their loving family and friends. We have each and every one in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. Terri & Rob James III
