Richard "Dick" Marshall

Mr. Richard "Dick" Marshall, age 48 of Palmyra, TN and formerly of Guthrie, KY, passed away Saturday evening, December 31, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville of natural causes.

Dick was born October 27, 1963 in Clarksville, TN, son of Albert and Dorothy Scruggs Marshall. He was the owner of Marshall & Associates Engineering in Guthrie; a graduate of the University of Kentucky (1986); a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarksville; and the American Society of Civil Engineering.

Dick was preceded in death by his father, Albert Marshall; son, Taylor Webster.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Marshall of Guthrie; wife, Carrie Marshall of Palmyra, TN; sons, Benjamin Webster of Clarksville, Tyler Marshall of Memphis, TN, Haden Webster of Clarksville and Jon Marshall of Palmyra; two brothers, Scott Marshall of Guthrie and Joseph Shepherd of Miami, FL.

A memorial service is scheduled to be held 2 p.m., Wednesday at Guthrie Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour 2 p.m. at Guthrie Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Highland Cemetery.

Visitation with the Marshall family will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at Cook-Webb Funeral Home, 270-483-2157
