Robert Dowell, age 76 of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Greater New Birth Jerusalem Ministries. Burial at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery, Nashville, TN.
Visitation Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., at Greater New Birth Jerusalem Ministries.
He was born April 23, 1937 in Memphis, TN to the late Josh and Mariah Dowell. He retired from the U.S. Army. His wife, Barbara Jean Dowell, preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory: daughters, Gail McKinney, Sybil (Kenneth) Williams and Debra (Lawerence) Brown; son, Kerwin D. Dowell; brothers, R.B. (Dorothy) Dowell, Roger L. Dowell and James Richard (Ruby) Dowell; fifteen grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a host of family friends.
