Green, Jr.

Roy Alford Green, Jr., age 31, passed away on August 29, 2014. He was born on August 6, 1983 in Clarksville, TN to Bonnie Cora Green (Espy) and Roy Alford Green, Sr.

He worked at Tri State Ambulance Service where he was an EMT. He was an active member in CERT, Wood Community Emergency Communications, and Red Cross. He was a member of the St. Mary's First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Green of Vienna; son, Ryan Green of Vienna; father, Roy Alford Green, Sr.; sisters, Terresa Kinney (Rick) of Clarksville, TN, Debbie Hill (Greg) of Vienna; brothers, Jeff Sutphin (Cyndi) of Belpre, OH, Robert Sutphin (Laura) of Orlando, FL; father-in-law, Daniel Fluenty and mother-in-law, Kathy Fluenty both of Waverly, WV; sister-in-law, Morgan Fluenty of Waverly, WV; grandmothers, Ellen Green of Parkersburg, Mary Espy of Belpre, OH; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Green (Espy); infant brother, Johnathan Green.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Leavitt Funeral Home of Parkersburg with Pastor John Strimmer officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

He was a loving husband, daddy, son, brother, and friend. "Goodnight, God Bless, We love you."

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
