Age 49, passed away suddenly January 27, 2017. He was born September 9, 1967 in Clarksville, Tn. He was a 1985 graduate of Montgomery Central High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1985-1993. He was preceded in death by father, Bobby M. Batson. Survived by mother, Maggie L. Batson, Cunningham, Tn., fiancé', Sonya Inman, Nashville, Tn., children, Vincent Batson, Jr., Nashville, Tn., Jasmaine Batson, Atlanta, Ga., & Ashley Batson, Columbus, Ga., sister, Melissa(Felipe) Argueta, nephew, Felipe Argueta, Jr., nieces, Andrea Argueta & Abriella Argueta all of Clarksville, Tn., a host of other relatives & friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2017, 5-7:00 p.m. at Hooker Funeral Home, 723 Franklin St., Clarksville, Tn. Visitation Thursday, 10-11 with funeral to follow at Greater Nashville Church 3646 Murfreesboro Pk., Antioch, Tn. 37013. Interment Middle Tn. State Veterans Cemetery.

Maggie, my heart ached when I heard you had lost your son. I remember when he was just a little boy. We are going out of town after lunch, but my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. He is a very nice looking young man. Trust in the Lord and he will get you thru this and I know you will. Love you Maggie.
