Virginia Grimes

Virginia Marie Grimes, age 49 of Clarksville, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center.

A Memorial Gathering will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Virginia's earthly remains will be cremated.

She entered this life on July 24, 1964 in Hammond, IN to Clarence Jones and Carrie Corbitt Jones. She was a loving wife and mother, and was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her mother of Tennessee and father of Florida, Virginia is survived by her husband, Robert Grimes, Jr. of Clarksville; son, Christopher Grimes and his wife Lauren of Clarksville, and daughter, Amber Grimes of Clarksville; grandchildren, Hayden Ellis Melton, Elliemae Grimes and Addison Grimes; and a brother, David Jones of Florida.

I'm so sorry to hear of Sissy's passing. Lord knows we think she was too young to go but I guess he knows what he was doing! It had been awhile since I had seen you Sissy, but I won't ever forget your big bright beautiful smile, it always lit up your face!! RIP Sweet Lady. I'm sending my prayers to all of the family at this very difficult time. I hope that you can take comfort in knowing that you have 4 beautiful Angel watching down over all of you now!!
