This man was "Uncle Ben" to me. I will miss him and I will always treasure the wonderful time spent with him. He always had a smile and hug for everyone, espescially his family, which was greatly extended. I hope in time the hearts of his immediate family will heal knowing they had the most wonderful time of his life with him and knowing he is in heaven is the best part of all. To Aunt Bobbie and all the children God bless and keep you safe and in his care. Love, (Niece)Lucy Tucker Anderson

Even though I did not know your father, I do know that he was a wonderful man, a strong man, a loved man, and that he will be greatly missed. I know these things because of how you and Nettie spoke of him. Celebrate your father, be thankful of your time with him, and be blessed to know his wonderful spirit will always be with you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I will forever miss my sweet, wonderful father in law. His sweet hello when he answered the phone, the way he said I love you at the end of every phone call. My heart aches, he is missed terribly. I hope my children can grow up knowing how wonderful their paw paw was. I will miss him making ice cream cones for my children, the first thing they asked for as soon as they walked in the door. He was geniune in everyway, a true Christian. I know he's in heaven, we will see him again one day. Until then, a piece of my heart will forever be missing. I love you dad.

I wasn't as close as I would have liked to been with grandpa.I cherished the time I did get to spend with him.I am so glad my wife and kids got to know him and know that he had so much love in his heart for everyone close to him.He was a very special person and touched everyone's life he had met. There is no doubt in my mind he is with the Lord.He is no longer suffering. He is strong as ever and I am sure he has a smile on his face.I know it's hard not to grieve but I also know he would rather us celebrate his wonderful life instead of grieving his death.I know God will keep us all strong during this time.Even though we were miles away from each other the love traveled the distance.I will miss you grandpa! The trips to Florida will never be the same!We love and miss you very much!!

When my Father left us a part of me left too. I will miss him so much. It comforts me to know he is in a better place. We talk every night even if it was just to say hi & how is everyone. I will miss that phone call. I pray that this will bring the family closer. Life is too short & it passes before you realize it. I love you Daddy & we will be together again one day.

I do not even know where to begin. This wonderful man was a MAJOR part of my life for 16 years. By just following his example I have become someone that I know he was proud of. He was by far the most Godly man I ever knew. He never waivered and would shout it from the highest mountain if need be.
Just MY children loving him as much as they did, means more than anything. He never said a mean word to anyone, even if he felt like it. I am so thankful I had a chance to know him so that he could shape me the way I needed to be.
My heart hurts so deeply for the loss of this man. The WORLD is a darker place without his "baby blues" to help lighten it up for us.
Thank you Ben Tucker, for the greatest gift I have ever recieved, your daughter, my wife. She is just like you, therfore she contnues to shape me.
No words written here will be good enough to describe you or do you any justice to how special you are...They say the measure of a man is his impressions and his memory after he is gone...Well, look around, noone can deny your life or the impressions you have made on every life you touched..I LOVE YOU Ben Tucker, till the day I die.

It is still hard to see his name at the top of this page, in the list of Obituaries, or even in the address list on my phone. I know he is with God and it brings joy to me that he is not in pain anymore, he's not scared, and he is perfect. I just miss him, his sweet "hel-oo" when he answered the phone, his calm and gentle demeanor, his kindness to all he met. My dad was a great man, and he has a living legacy in his children, that they could strive to be as great as he was, to be as kind, gentle, loving. I appreciate all the kind words that have been left here and that will be. I love you Dad, and I will see you when I get there.

The memories I have of Mr Tucker (Ben) is childhood. he was always SMILING and WELCOME and LOVED all of us kids in the neighborhood. the house was always open
He is with Mom up there and probably talking about old times
THIS POEM is what he would want his children to remember and everybody that he touch their lives

You will be missed
Rita(Mathis) Taylor

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

My Grandfather had the biggest heart there ever was, He could always make you smile & feel like you were the most precious person to him. I miss him terribly but know that he is in a much better place waiting on us all. I love you with all my heart GrandDaddy

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

From the day I met Ben, I have adored him. He was a very special man, who never had a harsh word to say about anybody. We only got to see him on occasional family events, but to hear his loved ones speak of him, you just knew how amazing a man he was. He was adored by all that knew him, and will be forever in our hearts. May he rest in peace.

My Dad was a very special person to many different people in his life. He never met a stranger and was always full of love, especially for his family. He loved Jesus and walked with Christ for as long as I can remember. He was an inspiration to all that ever met him. Full of knowledge and advise about the simple things of life and how to live. He was my dearest friend, adviser and most of all my Dad. I will miss him more than words could ever say. Dad, I love you and I know that you are with Jesus in your new home, you ran a good race in life and you deserve your eternal rest. With all my love, I'll miss you so much, but I'll see you again and we will be together for ever more.
