"To be absent form the body is to be in the Presence of the Lord."
Dr. & Ms. Murray & Lauren;
I am very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and all the countless others who have "lost" Brett. The Lord does not give us more than we can handle and although we may never understand, He is in control and has a plan greater than anything we can imagine. God Bless you, your family and those closest to you.

Dear Murray Family,
Our family remembers Brett as a young man who wanted to have fun and be a part of the group. He was always willing to go along with everyone and have a good time. I am sure he was met at the Pearly Gates by Grandpa Murray, his Uncle Al and Uncle Nakamura-san who have now become his "posse" ...and I am sure he is teaching them all the finer points of electronic gaming! Brett has kicked the door down into eteranl life where he can be free and happy. And play non-stop! Brett is a sweet person who will be remembered by us as very kind hearted and eager to please. Our family will keep him in our hearts and prayers.
Aloha Brett,
Hi'i'lei Kaleilani
Beautiful child,
held in the arms of heaven

Linda and family, We were shocked and saddened to hear of Brett's too young passing. We pray that you can find comfort in knowing that your friends and tennis buddies are praying for you as you go through these very difficult days ahead, and that Brett's faith and yours in Jesus Christ will find a way to bring you the inner peace in coming days that Brett would want. Saddened by your loss, Joanne and Susan Cartwright (Konsavage)

I remember sitting with Brett everyday in lunch when I was in the 10th grade. That was his graduating year. He always knew how to spice things up, and it makes me wish I would have known him longer. :] God Bless him, and his family. He will be missed but he will not be forgotten.

God, Thank You for inspiring us with Brett. As Brett moves on to another divine appointment, we remember in him Your unconditional love, and Know Brett continues to inspire wherever he goes in spirit.

Dr. Murray and Mrs. Murray,
I had the pleasure of teaching Brett while at McKeel Academy when he was in the 6th grade. He was always sweet and hard-working, and had a quaint sense of humor. I know the pain of losing a child, having lost my son Joey in October, 2007. I will keep you both and Lauren in my thoughts and prayers and hope for eventual peace for us all.

Linda, David, and Lauren:
There are no words to express the sorrow and grief you are experiencing. Only someone who has loved a son as we have can possibly imagine the hole in your heart. I pray you will find some comfort in knowing how very much Brett was loved, admired, and respected by all who knew him.
I have such fond memories of him as a little boy while I was working at Grasslands. He used to come to the club, and it seems the whole place just lit up when he walked in. His smile was infectious. May you continue to feel his warmth as he forever smiles upon you.

David, Lauren, and Family,
I am deeply grieved by your loss. I want to extend my most sincere condolences to your family during this difficult time. I am certain that Brett will be sorely missed by all, he never met a stranger and knew no enemies. Robert Frost once said "Sometimes the only way around is through." I want you to know my heart is with you as you begin the journey "through" to healing. As parents we often endure the tireless struggle to keep watch over our children, perhaps now you can find peace in the faith that Brett is now in a place where he will keep watch over you. Our prayers are with you.
